THE BORED RUNNER

This page was inspired by The Bored Baker (a young lady who uses baking to "cure her boredom" during COVID-19 times and whose recipes are truly amazing! You definitely should try some of them. You can also read/watch the video about her here.)


Seeing daily notifications from her in my mailbox... it was inspiring.


I chose running as my "daily therapy"..

I've figured in the worst case, I would become "really fit" :)

and in the best case, who knows what will happen.


So every day, I run

and log it here after the run is finished.

Day 23 (June 16)

Running around the puddles makes it a little bit more "entertaining" in the daily grind.

Day 22 (June 15)

Every time I come to this bridge, I know it's about to become "easier" (at least for a little bit).

Day 21 (June 14)

Blurry vision.. that's the best I could do today (picture-wise).

Day 20 (June 13)

My "heart-break" hill.. you've made me cry so many times..

Day 19 (June 12)

The pre-running "ritual" :)

I just did my run. No words, just got my "job" done.

Day 17 (June 10)

This road became my friend, there are exactly 23 potholes in it.. yes, I've counted them all (and multiple times).

Day 15 (June 8)

Running essentials... I started wearing sunglasses now even in the rainy weather (makes it look cool too).

Day 14 (June 7)

Day 14, I am not just running, I am on fire this morning! Almost forgot to take a picture..

Day 13 (June 6)

Day 13... nothing else to say. I feel exhausted.

Day 12 (June 5)

I will never stop enjoying this view (especially after the run/climb).. I hate and love running up this mountain.

Day 11 (June 4)

Breathtaking... there is so much beauty in this forest. Sometimes I can't believe I call this place my "home".

I can do it! Just take a day at a time... one step, at a time..

How can it be already June! No clue, but running makes it that much better :) I love June! It has the longest days of the year, it...

Crazy idea came to mind... how about I start running every day to cure the "mental funk". I've been running consistently for the past 3.5...
