I went for a morning run.. Just because there was a late run last night and today is a "holiday", let there be no excuses, no explanations, no regrets - the BoredRunner gotta go for a run.

There were a lot of hikers on the trails today (New Year's Day hikers :).. it must be a thing). Encountering them broke up the "meditation" of the run, but oh well - we all have to share the trail :). I enjoy quiet runs, solo, without anyone around me. It's my thing.

The weather was surprisingly warm (I was a little bit overdressed), but I didn't mind it. The 1st day of the year and we are off to a good start - not long, but strong and solid run today with a good time. I will take it and use today to let the body rest a little bit.
