Today is Gracie's birthday, and the run was dedicated to her. The thing about running is that your greatest runs are rarely measured by length of the run or your speed. They are moments in time when running allows you to see how wonderful your life is. For an hour, I didn’t know anything except the land and the sky and my body. I was free from everything except running at that very moment, floating between what was and what would be. Finally I remembered what I had found in running for a year. I remembered what I had lost as well.

11 months/334 day of non-stop running... and I am still running.
