12.03 miles (total: 2,114.01 miles)
Today was my mom's birthday. She is silent again, but I hope we get a chance to talk soon.. I know she has been thinking about her children on this day. Throughout all these years, we are not trying to win arguments of right or wrong anymore. We are still trying to understand each other. I had to leave home to find home. But she probably knows me better than anyone else.
I miss her and miss running regularly. I run more than the posts on this blog, but definitely not every day. I miss the doing of the daily deed :)
Running and choking.. I've thought today about the imaginary constraints. If you stay and process within yourself, in the joy of the doing, you will never choke at the finish line. Why? Because not thinking of the finish line to start with, not looking at the clock, not watching myself performing. I am running in real time to the beat of the perfect music, thinking about nothing but just running, where the approach itself is the destination. Pure bliss.
Until the next time.
