9.02 miles (total: 2,141.76 miles) We are all trapped in our own way of thinking. Trapped in our own way of relating to people. We get so used to seeing the world our own way, we come to think that the world is the way that we see it. But it is not..

The run was good, but not light as I had hoped for. Exactly a year ago at this time, there was a thick smog above this area, and I remembered how I had to find creative ways to run every day - appointments in YMCA to get on a treadmill, double-masking, etc. Today I just ran in the open air with a drizzling rain, the Seattle kind. What a privilege. It was fresh, it was clear and it was peaceful, since nobody else was outside on an early, rainy Sunday morning.

How much I would give to get back to daily running now :) Perhaps, I should.. drop everything on the floor, and just run.. someday. There are other things on my mind/plate/life right now. But I know when I get back to it - that daily affair will be like coming back "home".

M&G are doing Tough Mudder in 2 weeks. Maybe I will do it too. I have not yet decided. I probably will decide the night before and will show up at sunrise :) We will see.

The days are getting shorter, and I will need to run with the flashlight in the evenings again soon...

Until next time.
